A concept. Akai Ito is a design concept, not a real product or company. No account is created. The only thing this site collects is what you send through the waitlist form, and the documents below describe how the service would work if it existed.

Your twin is made of you. This is how we would treat that.

What we read

Only what you connect, read-only: calendar events, photos, watch and listening history, and chats with AI assistants you choose to link. You can see every source and every trait we derived from it.

What we keep

Data	Why	How long
Derived traits	To build and run your twin	Until you delete your twin
Raw source data	Read once, on device, to derive traits	Not stored on our servers
Match results	To show you the report and book the dinner	12 months, or until deleted
City	To find people you could actually meet	Session only

What we never do

Sell or share your data.
Train other people’s twins on yours.
Show your twin to anyone without a mutual match.

Your rights

Access, correct, export or delete everything in one tap. Under GDPR and similar laws you can also object to processing or complain to your data protection authority.

This website

Hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Your city. The phone screens show your approximate city, looked up from your IP address by Cloudflare. It is shown to you and not stored, unless you join the waitlist.

The waitlist. If you join, we store your name, email, the optional note you write, the time you joined, and the city and country of your connection, in Cloudflare’s storage. We use them only to tell you when Akai Ito opens. Legal basis: your consent. Kept until you ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist closes. To see or delete your entry, write to us through the contact form (topic: Privacy question).

Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

In your browser. The site keeps two small entries: that you confirmed you are 18 or older (until you close the tab), and how you dressed your twin (until you clear site data). Nothing in them leaves your device.

Fonts. The typeface is served from this site. No request goes to Google or any other font service.
